Happy Belated Veterans’ Day & New Addition to My Family
I didn’t send out a “Happy Veterans Day” message yesterday – and I just realized it right now.
But – I have a REALLY good explanation:
Today, at 0543 in the morning, my daughter – Haley Lee Huff – joined the family. She is 6 lbs. 9oz., and both Missus Sensei and baby are doing great.
And by the way, I knew my wife was tough being a Black Belt and all, but I had no idea. Boys, women who give birth are the definition of tough. Didn’t think I could respect and love my wife more, but I do.
Me? I’m a mess.
I forgot the Veteran’s Day Message, I have a stack of paperwork a mile high to get to and I think I left the garage door open when I left for the hospital at 0130 this morning, so I’m sure one or both of my cats will be gone when I get home.
But I don’t care. I’m overwhelmed with emotions and at the same time, excited for what’s coming next. And, I am very thankful that I can share this moment with you.
When I saw her for the first time, held her for the first time and saw her look in to my eyes as she recognized my voice, I knew I would do anything – anything within my power, and try like hell to use things outside my power – to protect her.
I know you would do the same for your kids. That's why you want to make sure you have gone to http://www.bullyproofkids.com/index1.html and get your hands on the "Bully Proof Kids" courses.
This way, you and your child will have your hands on the best, too-raw-for-the-school-systems information on how to protect and fight back against bullies. And when you do, I want to say, "Thank You" – you are helping me fund my baby girl’s college tuition.☺
Thanks again for being here to share this special day.
To your best,
Sensei Huff
P.S. – Be on the lookout for pictures of my new baby girl. I will figure out a way to get them where you can check them out.
P.P.S. – It is gonna get busy around The Huff Household over the next few days…I'll probably talk to you again next week. Have a great weekend.
P.P.P.S – To my fellow Veterans, Happy Belated Veterans Day. My bad for forgetting – I got distracted.
