Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all this holiday season.

Contrary to the latest politically correct movement to force everyone to say, "Happy Holidays" – I am Old School; it's "Merry Christmas" and it means "whatever you celebrate this time of year, Merry whatever that is."

I was taught that "Merry Christmas" wasn't about your religious preferences or beliefs; it was about wishing others well at this time of year. Regardless your beliefs, I am sure we can agree that wishing others well is a Good Thing and letting someone or something hijack the term, "Merry Christmas" to fulfill an agenda is a Bad Thing.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours; may your holiday be full of cheer and your New Year better than the last.
